Glass screen protector VS NO protector at all...Should I bother with them?

It’s basically a second screen since if it gets scratched or dropped then u peel it off and put on a new one.

I NEVER EVER drop my phone and I am overprotective with it, yet my glass screen protector has only hairline scratches, but is it worth it?

I suppose its it’s better that my real phone screen didn’t have them scratches but then I’m not using my phones screen, might as well have 2 screens?

What?

Tempered Glass screen protectors are a sacrificial layer, usually more brittle than the phone screen itself so they'll shatter first, absorbing a shock that may have shattered the phone's screen. It's not a second screen, there's no LCD or digitizer or anything lmao, it's a piece of glass with adhesive on the back. People use them because they're like $3-20, vastly cheaper than the screen itself is to replace, and they still give you a nice glass feel.

But why are you asking this?

You already have one? And it's not cracked, so there's no further cost since you already own it... You're not complaining about the feel or anything so that's not a reason to remove it. Is there literally any reason you have to not use one?

I took it it off today to get a bloody hair somehow under the screen and it cracked >:((((((

Choice. Same reason any bikes above walmart-level don't have pedals or include really really cheap plastic ones. Same reason phones include cheap headphones or none at all. The OEMs know people have preferences and they'll just buy something else anyways, so there's no need to include more stuff.

Yes. I always get a 3 pack since I tend to mess one up when installing and have to start over.
