I have this I bought from Newegg, but here's the Amazon link. I bought this a while ago and just never used it.

Will this power a GTX 1050 non ti version? My 1050 only uses the PCIe slot's power, no external power needed. I know the recommendation is a 500W PSU but I see no reason why a 430W PSU won't work considering that it only uses the slot's power and it's a pretty low power consumption card. The PC will only be used for Minecraft and Roblox. I don't know anything about Roblox's system requirements but it's a browser game I think.

The only other things the PSU will power are a non overclocked 6600k and an SSD and HDD.

That's enough wattage, but you should consider a less horrible quality PSU.

i agree with jonny, though i only agree as i have never seen a psu that wasn't associated with 50's (going up by a value of 50.  400, 450, 500, 550)

A couple off the top of my head...

Seasonic S12/M12 520/620 (and all of its derivatives)
Corsair CX430
Corsair AX760i/AX860i

Can't judge a PSU based on whether it is X50 watts.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450

interesting, its just something i haven't seen before, it would be like if apple released an iphone 7.5, i would be hesitant as it seems a tad weird to me if all i had ever seen was 4, 5, and 6

ill have a look into it, learn something every day. tbh i dont know why i havent seen them

Probably since they're uncommon in most builds. The AX series is a premium PSU, few people have a build that requires one. The CX430 is from the old CX 2012 models. As for Seasonic S12/M12, it's a low quality PSU (for today's standards) from a manufacturer that isn't well known to a lot of people so that's why you haven't seen it.

MAIN PC:

CPU: AMD Ryzen™ 7 7800X3D Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX CPU Cooler: EVGA CLC 240 GPU: EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra RAM: TEAMGROUP Expert T-Create 32GB (2x16GB) 6000Mhz CL30

Case: CoolerMaster TD500 Mesh PSU: Thermaltake GF1 PE 750w Storage: 1TB Western Digital Blue 3D + 1TB Crucial P1 + 1TB ADATA XPG Gammix S11 Pro + 4TB Seagate Barracuda 5400RPM OS: Windows 10 Home

Headphones: Philips SHP9500s   Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Cherry MX Red Displays: Gigabyte M27Q (27" 1440p 170hz IPS), Samsung UN32EH4003FXZA (32" 768p 60hz TV)

Former parts that I've used:  Intel® Core™ i3-9100F, Intel® Core™ i9-9900k, Asus Dual OC 2080, Gigabyte Aorus Master 3080, Gigabyte Gaming OC 3080, EVGA XC3 Ultra 3080, EVGA FTW3 Ultra 3080 Ti, EVGA 3060 XC, ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 4-CB, Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro Wifi, ADATA XPG 16GB (2x8GB) 2400Mhz CL16, Corsair Vengeance 32GB (4x8GB) 3000Mhz CL15, Scythe Fuma 2, Acer XG270HU.

Regardless...

It's a standard 80 PLUS (not even Bronze), double forward topology PSU without DC to DC (Haswell compatible my ass), with a sleeve bearing fan and all Chinese capacitors.

It should only be used as a quick fix for grand ma's 15 year old eMachine.
