No one really knows because most of the benchmark videos were made when the game came out almost a month ago.

 

In the meantime, Rockstar has apparently released a bunch of optimization patches and some people are claiming that it has fixed the performance issues.

 

IMHO your best bet is to buy the game tomorrow when it comes out on Steam, play it for less than 2 hours, and simply refund if the performance is bad.
