Hi all,

There's no forum section on the forums for the minecraft server yet, so here's a thread for it with a bunch of info from the Discord.

Server version 1.12.2 (supports versions 1.12.2 - 1.14.4, although we recommend 1.12.2 for the best experience.)
Please note: Connecting to the server through a VPN is not allowed. You will automatically be banned for 24 hours for doing so.

No, he is referring to the official LTT MC server that they have made several videos on now, which has some legit dedicated hardware. The reason he tagged it as unofficial is because there is no official subforum for it yet, and this is just an info post.

Is there any possibility of an application/whitelisting system for people who would like to join the server but can only get to servers through a VPN?

If you have a floatplane subscription you are excluded from vpn checks once your minecraft, discord, and floatplane accounts are all linked. For anything else, ask in the LTT Discord.

I likely wouldn’t be of any use in an alpha.  I might possibly be in a beta.  I know nothing about Minecraft and my networking knowledge is near zero for purposes required here.  My only useful possible contribution would be ignorance, which is occasionally useful in a beta.  Alpha is trying to to make things work, beta is breaking stuff and making it stupid proof.
