I need help picking out the best 144hz 1080p monitor.

I'm buying a higher refresh rate monitor soon and I'm trying to do so much research but I just can't decide on the best monitor. My PC has a GTX 1070, a ryzen 5 3600 and 16gb of ram. My budget is up to $300. It needs to be at least 1080p, 144hz and have good color display and response time. I don't play extremely competitive but I do play MMOs and stuff. I would also prefer one with a black frameless/bezel-less design because I really like the way my current ASUS one looks. That's about it, I'm still trying to figure out the different panels and difference between flat and curved and I don't think I want a TN but maybe someone who knows better can help with that. It seems like IPS or VA would be better for me but IDK.

If you guys could push me to picking out a specific one I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you.

Out of curiosity, what MMO are you playing? Does it benefit from having fast refresh rate?

I believe that TN panels are king in pixel response time than IPS panels (ips for color accuracy). For now you can't have the both of them in one monitor (except for LG monitor i think, linus made a video on this)

Curve monitors has its perks when you sit at the perfect distance from it.

WoW is my main game but I do play a lot of RPGs and some FPS games semi-often and I'm really gearing up for Cyberpunk 2077. I just really want a 144hz monitor. I don't think I need a super fast response time since I don't play at the top end in games, I think I'd much more prefer a better picture. I still want it to be responsive enough for when I am being a try-hard I guess.

Based on reviewed models, it going to be hard to find one in that price range.

You want 144hz for gaming, but dont want TN, if u dont want TN, which means u may not like an IPS if contrast and black levels are of any importance.

is an option. But its got some seriously slow pixel response times for dark scenes, just like most typical VA panels.

That said, the next display is has some massive sales going on right now, like 50% off or more. If u can find it, u can grab one for ~$400 i believe. Im not in the US so ull have to search for urself. its the best VA monitor thats been reviewed thus far in regards to pixel response times for gaming.

If u want to try an IPS then consider the following.

As ur likely noticing these are all above $300, at least usually, u may find some on sales , I know the US has some wicked sales going on atm.

Below $300 its next to impossible to find a tested and reviewed IPS or VA monitor with those specs.
