Hey everyone!

I'm trying to plan out a new computer to buy - Gaming (I don't care about maxing it, just playing everything) and light work only -, I live in Portugal and I intend on buying the missing pieces from these sites PcDiga, GlobalData, PcComponentes (I'll link to each part page individually)

This is what I got so far:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (Not going to overclock) - Worth it to sell it and try to get a deal on a 3600(x)?

Motherboard: Asus TUF B450M-Plus Gaming (got as a bundle with cpu)

RAM: G.SKILL Aegis (2x8GB) DDR4-3000MHz

Storage: Samsung EVO 860 500GB

GPU: GTX 660 TI - Upgrading into 1660 Super (Soontm)

Now for the parts that I need your help and insight!

CPU Cooler (PcDigaGlobalDataPcComponentes) : Thought of buying a Hyper 212 but I can't find the right mounting brackets so I can mount it vertically - I'm at a loss here, any suggestions? Do I even need an aftermarket one?

Case (PcDigaGlobalDataPcComponentes: Looking for something around 50€ that won't compromise airflow, needs to have a window and it must be compact, this is what I have in mind so far (bonus points for style or RGB ?) :

  • CM Q300L (Promo 30€) - It is recommended here on the site, but everyone complains about the airflow being absolute garbage
  • CM NR400 (Promo 38€) - Does it have a nice airflow like its big brother the NR600?

PSU (PcDigaGlobalDataPcComponentes) : Not sure how much do I really need, I'm looking for something that will last me for quite a long time and is reliable, but I'm unsure which ones to get, since after doing my search it seems people have mixed feelings about it, didn't want to spend more than 60€:

  • Gygabyte G750H (Promo 53€) - It is sold out for now* can buy for 61€
  • Corsair CX 450W (55€)
  • BitFenix Formula Gold 450W-550W (Promo 64€-69€)
  • Cooler Master MWE Gold 550W (Promo 67€)
  • Corsair CX 550 (68€)
  • Corsair RM650 (Promo 74€)

I'd like to thank in advance to this community for the help and for allowing me to learn so much about PCs in general

PS: What should I look for in fans other than RPM? In case I want to start pimping the PC and go for RGB strips or something later.

Dont need one at stock, unless you're trying to compensate for the hot summer (especially heat waves, if air conditioning isn't a thing)

the cheap price of the NR400 (which does have good airflow) eliminates the reason to consider the Q300L

For GTX1660 Super, probably not.

If you don't intend on OC'ing it probably not.

Because it's practically an open air chassis.

Look into Fractal Design Focus G, Deepcool Matrexx 30 & Zalman S2 too.

Well, all of them would do good for GTX1660 Super but looking at these prices it's either Gigabyte GH or BitFenix FG 550W.

The Focus G (think you're referring to the mini?) is just what I'm looking for in terms of dimensions and is just around 50€, but it's sold out for now

The Deepcool Matrexx 30, I can't seem to find it anywhere

The Zalman S2 is on sale for just 30€ (usually 35€, same price as the S3) but it's bigger than what I'm looking for.

downgraded cwt gps, it's okay for a budget unit

but honestly, as many know i prefer multirail at that wattage

If it was up to you, which one would you get from that list given the specs?

Oh, i've missed that you have mATX board. Look for Thermaltake H18 then also.

Sadly, can't find it anywhere for it's regular price.

Given the feedback I'll go with the NR400, a bit bigger then expected but I think I can deal with it.

Still unsure about the PSU, think I'll check around for some nicer deals.
