Posted December 1, 2019 Hi , I have 2 Zotac Amp Edition 1070ti's from my previous build. Now i want to upgrade my build, as of now i am just looking to change my CPU and Motherboard. I wanted to go for Ryzen 3900x but PC components here in India are too expensive. 3900x Is around $700 whereas in US its $500. So, now i am going for Ryzen 7 3700x but i am unable to find a proper X570 motherboard which Supports SLI. I could easily go for Expensive Motherboard which has all the features but thats just stupid. I mean if i could do that, then why not get 3900x for $700 ...so i am looking for a BUDGET X570 MOTHERBOARD WHICH SUPPORTS SLI WITH RYZEN 7 3700X. I need some expert advice here ... Posted December 1, 2019 They will state so in the boards' website, so just look that up. You wont have a lot of boards to look for anyway if you cant afford the high end models. Posted December 1, 2019 Why was explained to me recently. Crossfire is an open standard but SLI requires paying Nvidia, and apparently they didn’t like the existence of the x570 so they were asking a lot of money. There was at least one that wanted to do it but had to back out and even though they were hardware capable. The result is a board that can do crossfire but not SLI. So we’re back to the bad old days. Sort of. Not a pro, not even very good. I’m just old and have time currently. Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake. Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere. Sort of. Does that there are no X570 Motherboards which supports SLI?? what about Asus strix x570 - E gaming wifi? I checked and it says it supports but still finding options Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/1129718-x570-motherboard-that-supports-sli/#findComment-13091709 Share on other sites
 Posted December 2, 2019 @hareshparmar_arch, I would suggest Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro WiFi: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X570-AORUS-PRO-WIFI-rev-10#kf It has 2 PCIe x16 slots from the CPU (each running x8 for dual GPU config). The price to features are spot on, and they are just around USD 220 right now at Walmart. Other features include 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A ports at back panels (1 from processor, 1 from chipsets), 1 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port at back panel, 6th Gen WiFi, just to list a few. I have ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). More info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autism_spectrum I apologies if my comments or post offends you in any way, or if my rage got a little too far. I'll try my best to make my post as non-offensive as much as possible. X570 has a single issue for me: those motherboard fans. I don’t trust em. Fans die, and those are proprietary. Not a pro, not even very good. I’m just old and have time currently. But hey, you can still DIY the fan if it dies. There's actually a standard fan header hidden underneath the heat shielding. For me, I just buy a 40mm fan and stick into the inlet and call it a day.
