R7 rx3800 msi mpg carbon gaming pro wifi red cpu led trouble loading up.

PC turns on but sometimes instantly shuts off. Or it turns on and shuts off 5 minutes later. This is a new build and it wont stay on long enough to install windows 10. It loads to bios only sometimes and midway through installing windows also shuts down sometimes. PC starts with red cpu led but it goes away. I only have 8 pin cpu connected not the other 4, but I'm not sure if this is the problem since I read other people booting fine.

Reseat the CPU and your memory make sure memory is in the correct slots usually for 2 stick 2nd and 4th slot.

Are you blue screening or boot looping or is it loosing power to the point you have to hit the power button to turn it back on?

 

Please post full system specs as well.
