So recently I upgraded my graphics card to a 2080 super after my old 1080 ti failed but ever since it was installed I would get weird crashes. Note these crashes happened before the card failed but I assumed they where related to the card.

So I could be playing a game and then out of nowhere the game would crash. The window won't close it will just stop moving. I can still hear my friends on discord and if I tab out I can still move around with my mouse on other monitors but i can't interact with anything. Even when I hit the power button it will close all my programs but won't fully shut down and will have to hard power off. Is there anything I can do?

How did the old card fail?

Are you running the memory at default speeds or with XMP enabled?

Did you already reinstall windows with the new card?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
