7.1 Balanced Audio out of a PC

Hello guys,

I am wondering for years now if it's possible anyway to get 7.1 192kHz 24bit balanced audio out of standart computer, there are tons of great stereo soundcards for good prices or multi channel interfaces but you can't really use them in surround they all have many stereo outputs and I haven't found a way yet to use multiple stereo outputs for surround.

The thing is I am using four behringer A500 Amps and Magnat monitor sound system for my "home cinema system" but the noise is just really akward with the 3,5mm to double cinch to 6,35mm adapters even I I used very good shielded cables.

So is there any audio interface that offers eight balanced 6,5mm or XLR outputs for surround, for a reasonable price?

The cheapest thing I can think of would would the Emotiva MC-700, but that only has balanced output for the subwoofer.

What's the max budget? processor's generally aint cheap.

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

Max budget is about 1k€

I dont get the point of that thing it's rly expensive compared to what it offers, and why balanced, why can't someone like steinberg just offer 7.1 interfaces. :(

I'd also be happy if someone would have an idea how to use multiple stereo outputs as surround output in windows, I think there is some piece of software in linux that can do that.
