If you check my history you can see the issue I have been having with my new PC and have been having huge random frame spikes. I have literally tried everything, Including changing my GPU. Since there offers today, I was thinking I could hit two birds with one stone and Upgrade to a Ryzen 3600. However will this fix my issue of random frame drops. The temps are good. The PC is only one month old. I have done everything possible and the frame spikes are still there. So do you lot think changing/upgrading my CPU would fix this ?

Explain more what you mean by "Frame Spikes" as there seems to be a lot of confusion from some on what this means.. explain it in your own words as detailed as possible.

This happens always but here is one example. Say I am playing COD. I am getting roughly 100fps. Then every few minutes that drops down to under 20fps for a few seconds, the whole thing seems like it frozen then goes back to normal. Or while I am surfing the Web or typing this, it just glitches for a few seconds and the mouse cursor move very jiterry. I changed the GPU from a rx5700 to a RTX 2060 Gigabyte, but the problem still exists.

Did you run DDU when you swapped cards? Drivers dont like to play nice with one another like that.

Upgrading to R5 3600 can solve the problem since it has better performance, especially ST. Another source of lag spikes may be suboptimal power delivery by the PSU, what model is that ?

Yup, it's garbage, replace ASAP. Three options :

Corsair CX 650W - the cheapest i can recommend but it's not optimal

Corsair TXm 650W - good performance and value

Enermax Revoltion D.F 650W - a bit better performance wise but should be quieter under load
