Hello, I am have been looking to build a pc for both gaming and some 3d applications. I have a hard budget around $1500 CAD for a pc and peripherals. I was normally thinking of doing this build/setup(pc part picker link 1), but one of my uncles said he had a gtx 970 available. I don't know too much about the 970, I know it was released in 2014 so it is a little old now. Do you think the 970 is still worth it in late 2019? or should I start a whole new build?
