Hi there,

Since it's Black Friday I thought it was a good idea to buy a 2nd monitor. My current monitor is an Acer XF240H, it has a 144Hz refreshrate, a 1ms response and it's a TN-panel. It is a good monitor for gaming but I would like a nice IPS or VA panel instead of a TN-panel, which I own now. I want a monitor that has a beautiful image so i have one "ugly fast" monitor, and one "beautifull slow" monitor. I would like for it to have a 4K resolution and a size of about 27 inches, the refreshrate doesn't really matter as long as it is 60Hz or more same a the response time it does not have to be great. My current (relevant) specifications of my desktop are: a i5 8600K (6*3,6GHz), 16GB 3200MHz RAM and a GTX1080 (MSI 8G). As I said, I want to use it for media consumption and a bit of 4K gaming (I have my Acer screen for the 1080p 144Hz gaming), so the quality of the image is the most important. Hopefully you can help me choose one because I want to know what other people (who now more of monitors than me) think of it. Here's a list: (they are all 4K, 27inch, 60Hz and 10-bit)      (1€ is about 1,1$ as of now)

Philips 276E8VJSB (+- 200€ (Belgium (or Netherlands), Europe))

LG 27UK650-W (+-375€)

AOC U2777PQU (+-300€)

AOC U2790PQU (+- 300€)

LG 27UD59-W (+-275€)

LG 27UL500-B (+-290€)

If you have any suggestions, monitors that you already know are good, please let me know!

Thanks in advance!

I have the same Acer monitor except mine is a 27 inch, love that thing... a big problem that I had with getting my second monitor was how, while the other monitors that had better image quality, a big thing for me was the adjustability and accessibility. Make sure what every you get has a vesa mount on it, believe it or not, some of the LG 4k monitors or curved monitors in general do not have any screen adjustability or tilt so I'd be sure to check that out. As far as monitor recommendations go... I'm a big ASUS guy, the ROG monitors are pretty legit... this thing is nuts, https://amzn.to/34CAqY0, as is this monitor - https://amzn.to/35JBnOk - which is the cheapest 4k UHD monitor from ASUS... (not ROG) it's the one I have. I also recommend getting a desk clamp arm (gas powered) one for each of your monitors makes adjusting the screen so much easier. Hope this helps!
