Upgrading from I3-8100 wanting to go AMD

My first build I did has an I3-8100 I am wanting to go AMD on my next build, wondering which one to go with for the most bang for my buck. I would be gaming and streaming mostly with a little normal computer work and youtube watching.

Well since you didn't list a budget, then the easy answer is Ryzen 7 3700x.  8 Cores / 16 Threads and it'll power through gaming and streaming at the same time.

 

If lower budget applies:  Ryzen 5 3600 is still very good.

 

If unlimited budget:  Ryzen 9 3950x because lol 32 threads.

Depends what you want to do and what your budget is, but the R5 3600 on a B450 motherboard is incredible value for money.

USD?  Ok then I'd stick with the Ryzen 7 3700x and perhaps an X570 motherboard since that's a pretty hefty budget.  Keeps your future options open and the platform supports some nice goodies.
