I can use bank card as ID to pickup Royal Mail missed parcel, what if they copy my number tho????

In the US, sometimes TSA will require your debit card to verify your ID. This does not happen all the time, very seldom in fact. But it has happened to me before. They just look at it and cross reference the name on the card with the name on your drivers license or other form of government ID. They do this right in front of you.

I love how you have 1k posts and they're all questions about random stuff.

Actually none of these questions count. Off topic posts don't increase your post count.

So he has 1K posts elsewhere and probably thousands and thousands of posts of him asking questions about random stuff :P

Well I don't know about that - shitposters in my opinion are people that are intentionally making posts like that.

I just think he's really weird and kind of paranoid and overthinks everything.

Or he's the ultimate shitposter troll and is fooling us all.

Is royal mail the uk version of usps? Like a government ran carrier?

If so i wouldnt worry about it. Even on the off chance they do steal your number (which why would they?) You just call your bank and dispute the charge and get a new card.

Anytime you use your card anywhere technically theres a chance tbat someone will steal the info. How many times have you handed a server your card to pay for your meal? How many atms, or registers have you swiped your card at?

Theres plenty of ways that people could technically steal your card info. But unless you have a horrible bank i wouldnt worry about it too much. Plus...its a carrier. You think they would steal your debit card number?

Yes, Royal Mail is a government ran postage carrier, but most companies in the UK use DPD, Hermes etc.

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

We don't swipe cards here, bit old-hat that one. Never have to hand cards to people to pay for things either, the customer gets presented with the payment terminal. We've been using pin verification for well over a decade now and I think once I have ended up swiping my card in as terminal, as some gorilla had jammed theirs so hard into the chip slot it has busted the thing.
