Looking to buy this to cool my Ryzen 7 3700x however I've been seeing A LOT of people saying that this cooler's pump breaks after about 10 months. Is it worth getting, or should I get another AIO? If so, what are the next best alternatives for an AIO at a similar price?

Gonna burst your bubble I’m afraid: Unless you live in a tropocal climate and have to deal with really hot days, use the stock cooler that comes in the box.  It won’t overclock of course.  The thing is though that overclocking Ryzen 2 is barely worth doing.

Theres an argument for building a custom loop, but it mostly has to do with GPUs and x570 motherboard heat sinks and just “custom loop ness”

If you are in a tropical area (and I mean seriously tropical.  Like Egypt or Southeast Asia) the stock cooler won’t cut it, but a lowball 3 or 4 pipe air cooler of reasonable value will do just fine.  I mean you CAN of course.  There just isn’t any real reason to use an AIO on anything that isn’t a GPU lately.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
