Hey, so i bring happy news to everybody. When i updated to bios version 1404 which introduced the new 1.0.0.4 abba b, my system went unstable. Every time i booted my pc, it went to 5 minutes of boot loop and then bios setup. I could not but my ram to XMP cause my system would not start and ransom crashes in games.

Now that i updated to bios version 1405 all problems are gone. Pc boots fine and i can actually put my ram to XMP. And no crashes.

Its funny that the 1404 update was so bad. I nearly raged everyday. I had to put my pc tp sleep mode to prevent boot looping. I mean cmon Asus how can u even make such a horiible bios, and you could not even downgrade from it.

So everybody who has problems with their new asus x570 boards, update to latest bios please

I cannot install my nVidia driver. I think the board is not detecting it. Would this fix that? I have installed my chipset drivers and I'm going to try installing the nVidia driver now. It shows my GPU as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. Not sure how that is possible? It usually says the name of the GPU in Device Manager but not it isn't for some reason.

Have the same motherboard an just installed the new bios.

After restoring my profile and set my BLCK manualy at 100 (profile restore sets it to 0?) my cpu speed is locked at the base speed.

I have an R7 3800X, so it's constantly running at 3.9ghz and never going over that.

CPU is not overclocked, never touched any of these bios settings.

someone having the same issues or some ideas to fix?

Thx,

Stefan

You should bios update and crack driver easy pro, for your drivers.

Use ryzen master for overclock. When you reboot pc it will run at stock settings, but since you can just do 1 click whit your saved OC profile, that is not a big deal.

Ryzen master is better for me than bios.

All is fine again, I had to manually setup the bios and not load a profile from the previous bios version.
