Hi,

Relatively new to pc building and looking for some advice when it comes to picking memory.

Going to build a new PC starring either the 3700x or the 3900x with a mid/high end motherboard thinking taichi or aorus master.

There are so many options available in the memory market and I cant seem to find what specific kit i should go for.

I know the sweet spot is 3600mhz with lowest possible timings (pref with samsung bdie) but whatever info i can find on the subject its very vague on what the kit provides in timings and sorts.

Anyone have some usefull links to kits or some advice what to look for in names from g.skill corsair etc....

If you find a 3600 c14 kit you can't really beat that.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

The b-die does not matter that much in ryzen third gen. And if your budget is more you could get rtx 2080 super and 32gigs of that ram

Iam going 2080 super, but that specific RAM in the Netherlands is near 300 eur per 2 so i would feel it would be a bit overkill on the price to go 2sets of 16 for 600 euro memory being more expensive at that point than the CPU. So I might go the 3600 cl14 for 16gb or 3600 cl16 for 32gb

if you cannot see this link: https://azerty.nl/basket

i have a screen shot

Could not find the 3600mhz cl14 ram, you should look for that elsewhere. But the 3600mhz cl16 ram is good too, and you can manually run it at cl15. And look for rog strix x570-e motherboard or the crosshair vii hero motherboard, that website did not have on :P

Super sweet I couldnt see the link, but I looked some of the items up and did some tweaking to see what i could get cheaper (note i bought the 970 evo plus already for 170euro)

what do you think? I changed the ram to a 3600mhz cl16 kit with 4 sticks for less per stick.

pretty good, but asus x570 boards are  dominating right now, so you should buy like strix x570-e instead or crosshari vii hero wifi

They are? I watched some reviews on the x570 boards and they never specifically mention anything other than some bad reviews on the MSI boards, and positive on the taichi and aorus master (in the price category iam looking at)
