Best 4 Bay Diskless NAS

Hi guys,

 

This is my first time posting here I just have a couple questions about purchasing a new NAS. I'm looking for the best 4 bay Diskless NAS box to add my 4 4TB iron wolf pros to. I was looking at the DiskStation DS918+, is this a good starting point or should I get something else? I was also wondering if I should raid the drives and what the raid should be. The main uses for this is mostly for photo and document storage as well as backups for all of the devices. I am just wondering what peoples thoughts are and too see where I should go.
