RX 570 4GB/ Ryzen 3 1200 - MASSIVE STRUGGLE in Destiny 2???

My FPS averages around 30-45 at "The Tower" and is pretty crap in other places too.

Its just bad in this game, I have no idea why.

CS:GO, Forza Horizon 4, OW, R6 seem to work ok? 

Any fix possibilities?

No overheating seen. Noticed CPU and GPU usage constantly fluctuating tho, as per the default AMD overlay.

 

Other stuff:

Running off of SSD

8GB DDR4 RAM

CPU NOT overclocked

GPU NOT overclocked (custom fan curve if that matters?)

Your specs are above minimum requirements,  that doesn't mean you can expect the game to run above 30fps in any way,  usually that's exactly what minimum requirements means,  ~roughly 30fps at low settings and possibly 720p.

The performance you're getting is pretty much what is expected,  unless you lower settings dramatically there won't be much room for improvements, magically.

Hmm ok. So my next line of upgrade would probably be my CPU correct?

Yup. Probably looking at 2700x or 3600
