Posted November 27, 2019 Hello I was looking into USB-C monitors but I am not sure how they work, do you specifically need a laptop with USB-C or can you also use a HDMI port to USB-C. I saw some cables that go from HDMI to USB-C but I am confused about what you would use them for as they would not be able to power a monitor? Does somekind of splitter exist for these portalbe USB-C monitors so you can plug in both power and signal? Will something like this work, but then in reverse? from HMDI to USB-C? https://www.choetech.com/product/usb-c-to-hdmi-adapter-with-power-delivery-charging.html Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/1128259-usb-c-monitor/ Share on other sites
