Help, my mouse Is slower and starting to show some input lag, noticeable but not that big.

so yeah, my mouse isn't as fast, it's like its got some sort of smoothing, it's no longer as responsive as It should be, I tried higher dpi but It still was a problem, I tried everything like putting the enchant thing in the mouse settings and that didn't work so I turned It off again, honestly idk what to do, I had big input lag on my old pc and I'm not a week into my new pc and I'm starting to get the same feel to my PC.

Specs:

i5 6500

gtx 1060 6gb

8gb ddr4

If you guys want anymore information please tell me.

Okay just uninstalled and reinstalled It, dpi setting IS 800 on both settings. Also before this happened, my cpu fan cooler wasn't connected for about 5 days, but I never smelt burning or anything and I only used It for watching and stuff. Btw after reinstalling, I still the same.

Also I had this problem before and It was fixed by a update, i updated everything and It's the same, and before like when I first got my PC my mouse was fine until like a few hours of playing It would be like how It Is right now.

isnt 800 too low? ( #ImLockedAt6400DPIBecauseLowerThanThatIsTooSlow )

so it might have been software related since you said that it works on the other pc. have you tried it in another usb slot?

I have tried all usb slots, and I'm just saying that this wasn't a problem when I had the PC at the start and that had the software installed and 800 dpi is perfectly fine and Its how i play and I play fast with it.

at this point, it might have just been a software thing but im not sure which one. have you checked the USB headers inside the PC if they are connected properly? thats a bit of a stretch if its the problem but check , just in case. other than that, i dont know what is wrong.

are we using thermal paste? sounds like the cpu is throttling cos the user doesn't know how to maintain a pc.
