Hello. I'm very new to building PCs, with only a hurried non-researched suggested list build under my belt, and I'm planning to build a new system, taking the proper time to learn from my mistakes. I was planning on getting a Phanteks P400S or the new Lian-Li Lancool II as my case. And I was wondering if it was possible to attach RGB fans to the case RGB cycling buttons for their convenience, by either simply plugging in with splitters or if an RGB controller could work in this situation. Any videos I've looked up online have just been tutorials on how to install LED strips, and nothing really useful toward what I wanted to know. Also any suggestions on compatible fans would also be appreciated, if a solution is possible.

From what I've read, the P400S case comes with a 12v connector for RGB power, but I know nothing about case fans and controlling RGB. haha I wasn't sure if an RGB controller could be connected to the case's power cable or if a MOBO connection was required for control.
