1080p on a 40 inch monitor

so i currently have a 22 inch 1080p monitor. my sister wants to take it in exchange for a 40 inch monitor at 1080p. is that fine or will it be too pixelated?

thats the thing. im the only one in the family that doesn't use glasses (im color blind though)

Your color blindness won't affect how you see the pixels. I'm color blind (partially) and yeah, 40" is way too big as a monitor. Are you sure it is a monitor and not a TV?

it is. its just a chinese brand of monitor. i plan to just buy a regular one in the future since 40 inch literally occupied my wall space LOL. ill be ditching it in about 2 months but im still worried about it though.

If I were you I wouldn't go for that big of a monitor at 1080p. I guess it depends on the person, but I personally wouldn't go over 23-24" at 1080p. Anything higher and I like 1440p/4K.
