Hi guys,

my old radio broke in a storm probably from the power coming and going. The radio has two big speakers which are still working (tested them holding the cables on a normal jack).

Those speakers have only two wires coming out from each, a black and white one.

Looking for a cheap amplifier on amazon I saw: https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Amplifier-Wireless-Receiver-Adapter/dp/B072Q157FY/ref=sr_1_26?keywords=audio+amp&qid=1574674311&sr=8-26

It has the right wattage and resistance for the speakers, but it has what looks like female rca on it, how do I connect it?

I can buy cheap rca male plugs but then how do I solder?

in the schematics I found rca has 2 cables per plug while I only have one per plug...

Hope I was clear and thank u in advance for the help guys

Edit: the photo is of the back of my old Radio

Those aren't rca. You just twist them and shove the wires in for the speakers then twist them back.

So if I buy this one https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Amplifier-Wireless-Receiver-Adapter/dp/B072Q157FY/ref=sr_1_26?keywords=audio+amp&qid=1574674311&sr=8-26 I only have to put the cables inside from behind and they'll work?

I guess. Personally I'd just buy a new radio that does digital and internet. That thing looks ancient.

The thing in the image is the old radio, the new amp in the Amazon link should be pretty new, and it has Bluetooth. my question is: can and how do I attach the speakers wire to the new one? Do I need a plug and how do I solder it if I need it?

english isn’t my first language, sorry if I’m not clear

The gold barrel thing's on the back unscrew, which reveals a hole, you then put the bare wire into the hole and then screw the barrel on it to hold it in.

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)
