Will MicroAtx mobo fit GPU and wifi adapter?

Hello guys! need help  

im wondering if my microAtx board will fit GPU and wireless adapter at the same time? i really dont want to buy USB.

my motherboard is ASrock B365M pro-4 and my GPU is RTX 2060 Super Windforce gaming OC.

im planning on buying this adapter:

will it fit? does it go to PCIe (x16)? (its small)

Yes, it works. 

You can use either of the two slots under the graphics card.

Even though it has less "pins"?

It has enough for the wireless card. If you look at the connector on the wireless card, you'll see that it's pretty small.

Yes i meant the connector, its small and the PCIe express slot is large. GPU fills it up but adapter doesnt. my question is: will it work even though it doesnt fill up whole slot?

had a delve trough the manual, it seems to imply both the 1x slot, and the lower 16x (physical) slot are wired into the chipset, so neither shares bandwidth with you GPU's slot.

 

the reason i say "(physical)" is that this bottom most slot is only 4x electrical either way, the physical size is only there "in case" you want to add bigger cards. pci-e is compatible both ways (big slot + small card / small slot + big card), just defaulting to the lowest spec of the two. it looks funny, but it works just fine.

what do you mean by "neither shares bandwith with your GPU's slot" ? did  you mean that my GPU isnt compatible with my board or that wifi adapter wont get in the way?

That was a clarification that using the wifi adapter wouldn't be taking pcie bandwidth away from the graphics card and reducing performance.

on some boards that lowest slot is wired with SLI/Crossfire in mind, which would mean that plugging anything into it would split the lanes your GPU gets (normally 16) in half, to allocate lanes to the lower slot. which is a silly thing if you only need a single lane for the wifi card. (and in turn, would mean a potential for bottlenecks in badly programmed games)

 

its a little detail that's often forgotten, but luckily with multi-gpu setups going the way of the dodo motherboard manufacturers usually have nothing shared with the 16x slot these days.
