I spilled a bit of water on my keyboard and a bit was on the touchpad. I immediately turned the laptop upside down and wiped the water off and then switched it off. Currently I left it to dry hoping that water won't leak to the Motherboard. Is there anything else I can do? And is there a chance that the keyboard might leak water to the Motherboard?. The exact model is G7 7588

Just try to get as much water out from it before trying to power it on again. You could put your laptop in a bag with rice as the rice will absorb all excess moisture (or get some desiccant beads). If you have a blow drier you could blow dry the keyboard and attempt to evaporate whatever is left over.

Take it to service ASAP for motherboard cleaning, in case the water goes inside
