Meshify C with a thick 360 radiator or Noctua-D15?

I have look at some videos of the Fractal Design Meshify C to see if it could fit a 360 AIO with fans in push and pull. It looks like there is a removable panel above the hard drive cage. I wanted to confirm if the hard drive cage and the panel above was removable. What is the thickness clearance for radiator and fans until it reaches the upper cover of that shroud for the lower chamber?

How is the clearance for the Noctua-D15 to the window? Noctua site does have the case listed on the compatible cases, but I wanted to see if there was any room for something taller than Corsair Vengeance LPX memory.

I see the case on sale at a local shop and wanted to get some more information before deciding to purchase it to hold for a near future build.

I don't know if there's clearance for the D15, but if there's not you can buy the NH-U12A instead. Same performance, smaller package.

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

Wait a 360mm radiator for what set up? Like what are you cooling? Also, keep in mind with that case and a front mounted rad, you are limited to no 3 fan GPUs. I have that same case, running a 280mm rad up front cooling my overclocked R7 2700 and when I did the math, the maximum size GPU I could fit with my specific radiator set up was about 282mm long I believe.

Max CPU cooler tower height is 170mm on the Fractal site. Also, to fit push/pull on that case you will need to modify the front panel I am pretty sure.

My First (Current) Build:

Laptop:

HP Spectre X360 13t Gem Cut (i7 8565u, 240gb, 8gb mem)

Meshify C's max clearance is 170mm. You've got 15mm before you even touch the side window, you're totally fine even if you raise the front fan to fit taller ram.

The panel is removable and a push/pull setup is possible. However your limitation is the length of the GPU. A Push/pull setup with a 27mm thick rad leaves you only 263mm (about 10.5") long GPU options, which is about the length of most reference cards. I would probably recommend just using either push or pull for an AIO in a Meshify C for best GPU compatibility (and will be comparable to an NH-D15 anyways)

Yes the drive cage is removable and so is the shield. I have mine out so that I could drop down my 280 rad a bit so I can have the hoses at the top. I run mine in a pull fashion and have no issues with cooling. Honeslty, I could see a 360mm rad set up being extremely tight in the meshify C, what are you cooling? Chances are a 240 or 280 like what I have would cool similarly and be easier to work with. A 240mm rad you could put on the top as an exhaust and not limit your GPU size and just run fans in the front. But I will always recommend 140mm fans and a 280 rad over 240. Far better cooling for decent for decent quality comparison and quieter.

I am planning to get 3900x or 3950x and will likely swap out the 360 AIO in my current system if it could fit. It does seem like it would be a tight fit and may only be able to use 8-10 screws. I could just keep my current case if it didn't fit.

I picked up the Meshify C for $90 CAD during the Black Friday sales. I did find one picture that had a 360 installed. It definitely will fit according to my measurements with the older Castle 360 (392mm) with very little room to spare below and above. My new video card is too long by a few millimeters, but I could go with one set of fans in push on the radiator. I was planning to save the case until I got a Ryzen 3950x anyways so that doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon.

The front mesh looks so much better under low lighting than how I saw it so shinny in all the  Fractal Design pics from the website.
