lightweight 16 button mouse for fps games?

I am using the Utechsmart venus mouse for fps's I like having the buttons at my thumb as find it easier than the keyboard.

I am wondering how this relatively unknown brand is affecting my latency ( i seem to be dying to latency issues so looking to reduce it where i can) and also the sensor is lazer not optical which is apparently not optimal

Of the other high button mice like the corsair scimitar or logitech g600, which is the lightest or has mods that can be done to lighten them?

Really you'd want a more lighter and simple mouse for fps games rather than MMO like multi button one though. I take it you tal about online fps that is.

I know i just have found i like 6 ish thumb buttons but play fps games (basically only fps) so if i could do both a light mouse and more than 2 thumb buttons that would be great
