I have a h100i v2 that was put in storage a while back. Worked fine when I put it in there. Took it out and hooked it up to see if the pump still worked and it doesn't. Figured it seized up from sitting so I smacked the copper part of the block a couple times with the butt of a screw driver and it took off. Was little loud at first but is now quiet as one could expect. Would it be a bad idea to use it or should I just chuck it? I do usually run my PC 24/7 so I can't keep a eye on it at all times. Will be cooling a 7700k not overclocked if it matters.

try to test it outside the PC for a few days just to make sure. it might have been the pump getting a bit of a stuck up since the motor went unused for a long time.

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

You don’t need to watch it all the time. The pc is smart enough to take care of itself.

Use it or don’t.

errr, it may leak I'd never risk it, like the guy said I'd leave it to run outside of the computer in a plastic box and check for moisture.

Yea a brand new one could leak too. Don’t see people advising to run the unit out side the rig first.
