Its a great work mouse but it falls short for gaming.

Ok, should I still get it or not? Would there be a wireless mouse you would recommend more? Would it be an improvement over my current mouse (m720 triathlon)? I don't really play that much games, is that still good?

I've been using the g602 since 2013 and I love it, I have owned two since. I recently bought one for cheap on Amazon for $25. For work/productivity it is awesome as it conforms to your hand really well. As mentioned before, it is decent for gaming, but for light sessions or non-competitive gaming I think it is fine. Be aware that the software for this mouse is utter trash though.

There are wireless mice i would reccomend over it like the g pro and the viper ultimate, but they are fairly expensive. If you love the shape of the g602 then you can get the g604 which is an update version. I've had the g602 since launch and im happy with the mouse, but i wouldnt use it as my main, its ok for certian kind of games that dont require fast movement.

Is there anything you would recommend thats under $75? Most of those seem pretty expensive. Also shape is kinda important, I've gotten used to the curve with the m720. I mainly do surf on CS:GO (I'm afraid to go online in a match because i'm bad). So, I don't really want to spend a ton just for a mouse I will barly use to its full potential.

Thanks for the heads up about the software. Just wondering tho, why 2 of the same mice?

I had one in college, then I lost it when I moved back home and subsequently moved into my own apartment. Fast forward to a couple of months ago and I was on the hunt for a good work mouse as I was sick of the trash that companies would provide, and figured $25 was a good price to pull the trigger. I just checked on Amazon and you can get them new for $28 or used for $26. I think at that price it is worth buying as if you don't like it you're not throwing away too much money, and of course you can always return it on Amazon hassle free for your money back.

Oh, that makes sense lol. Yes, I think that the price of this mouse is very good, especially since as I said before, I don't really game all that much, at least competitively (mostly surf on cs:go) and i feel like it would be a waste to spend a ton on a mouse I won't really use to its full potential.

If youre looking for a cheap wireless mouse the g305 is hard to beat.

I kinda need it wireless. I have a cramped desk and can't really fit a wire. Also, I found a deal for the g603 on amazon which makes it cheaper than the g305, should I look at the g603 or g305? Also there's a corsair harpoon rgb wireless thats also cheaper than the g305 on amazon, is the corsair model better?

Well logitech has great software, cant comment on the corsair one.

But do you know if the mouse is good?

G305 is for small/medium hands or fingertipgrip/claw

G603 is for medium to large hands palm grip

wierd question but is there a way to tell which size you hand is/which is best by the length of your hands or by the mouse you currently have? I don't think my best buy has these 2 mice on display for me to hold.

Below 18 cm is considered small hands above is on the larger side.

The Corsair one has an odd shape like most corsair mice (particularly the sides on this one). Its not something id personally get. Just like the g602 the harpoon can sometimes spazz out when flicking. The g305 and g603 are safer shapes.

Thanks :)! Guess the g603 is more for me (my hands are just bigger than 18cm&9cm). Thank you for helping guide me through this! I really appreciate it!
