Crucial P1 CT1000P1SSD8 NVMe

Go to solution Solved by Juular,

It will be compatible with any motherboard that has M.2 slot really, older boards couldn't boot from M.2 SSDs however, but it wouldn't be a problem with B350. As of SSD itself, you can get TLC SSD instead of QLC for just a little bit more it will be better since QLC SSDs have very low continuous write speed around 100 MB\s. ADATA S5 \ SX6000 PRO, Sabrent Rocket, Team MP34, ADATA SX8200 Pro, etc.

Anyone have experience with this Nvme drive?

It's cheap as heck and probably even cheaper on bf.

And any idea if this is compatible with MSI B350M Mortar board,  I can't really find the info,  I know it has a "m2"  slot but still not sure it would work?

Oh I see,  I kinda figured there's a reason it's so cheap in comparison... thanks I'll check those drives!

I mean, it's still better than Intel 660p which is generally costs a bit more and it's okay for budget PC if you have nothing write-speed critical. But if you're not particularly budget restricted i wouldn't look at QLC SSDs. Literally an other NVMe SSD would be better. Those i've mentioned are just examples, there's a lot more good ones.
