Hi,

a week ago I bought myself a brand new Ryzen system… since then i rma-ed the Mainboard because one of it’s pcie slots wasn’t working, the CPU because it had da deep scratch on the IHS and the packaging wasn’t sealed (was clearly used), a Dark Rock Pro 4 because one of its fans wasn’t spinning and now that everything seems to be working I’m getting random shutdowns / crashes, just turns off then on again with Kernel-Power Error 41.

I have a couple of questions:

- Mainboard -

When I press the power button everything turns on then immediately off again, waits 1-2 seconds then turns on and those q-led leds light up in this order: orange (RAM), red (CPU), white (VGA), then the PC Speaker beeps, then green and then I get the Mainboard splash screen.

Is this on then off then on again behavior normal? The PC seems to work fine after that… (besides the power loss)

- Random power loss -

As I already mentioned I get random shutdowns… The PC just randomly turns off no Warning no nothing just black screen and then reboot. When I check the Error logs it just tells me Kernel-Power 41. It doesn’t seem to be load dependent, I can Stress test all I want and no shutdown but the next time I open my Browser boom power gone! CPU temps look fine to me under full load it jumps to 70°C but quickly cools down to 60-65° and stays there. I’m running everything stock except the ram at 3200mHz which it is rated at. The last time I experienced something like this it was a bad power supply, so maybe that's the suspect?

I’m sorry for the long post but I feel like I’m going absolutely crazy, one whole week of troubleshooting and returning parts and now this. I need some help! I have 4 days left then my 14 day return window is over and I just have the normal 2 year warranty. What should I try next return the power supply or maybe cpu or ram?

System:

CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x

Mainboard: ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming

RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z DDR4-3200 DIMM CL16 Quad Kit ( F4-3200C16Q-32GTZB )

PSU: be quiet! PURE POWER 11 600W CM

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER Windforce

Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4

Is the RAM overclocked manually or through xmp? Sometimes the motherboard/cpu doesn't like the xmp profile (optimised for intel). Try to manually increase the dram voltage, or reduce the frequency to 2933 (officially supported) and see if this still happens.

Proper cmos reset. jumper to cmos flash and powering on the system several times (which should not work when the jumper is on reset.)
running everything on optimized defaults.
installing windows fresh.

look if it's happening again.
No? problem fixed.
Yes? Hardware damaged. (Send everything back.)
