Dark Core Wireless and iCue

I have a Dark Core wireless mouse along with a K95 Platinum keyboard. When iCue is open, the mouse is not visible when in wireless mode, it appears when I plug in and then disappears when I unplug. Is this as intended?

Just thought I'd follow up now that it's been a few weeks. it seems iCue decides when it wants to show the mouse. It's always visible when  wired. If I pull the wire, sometimes it stays visible, sometimes it will disappear. Also , sometimes the colors will change on their own when wireless. I usually keep it on a single color and it will seemingly change at random times.
