What is plating flank in mouse

I am buying a mouse and this mouse stands up to me but it has a very weird feature. It has something called "Plating Flank" I don't know much about this feature and i can't find any information about it on internet so I am here.

See all that plastic crap glued to the sides of the mouse? I'm guessing that's "Plating Flank".

 

If you only have $5-$10 for a mouse just grab the cheapest logitech or Amazon basic mouse you can find. You won't have to wait 3-4 months for it to ship from China and it won't fall apart in 3 days.

I live in india and it also sells on amazon india so it will just take 5 days with better return policy

Still, it's likely to be a pretty terrible mouse.  LTT did a video on $15 "gaming" mice.  Worth a watch if that's your price bracket if for no other reason than some points of comparison.
