Yo Everyone. i was given an AsRock X570 Phantom Gaming X Motherboard by the admins of the New Age Gaming LAN in Johannesburg at the ticket pro dome for free. i would like to know should i get a 6 Core AMD Ryzen cpu ? or 8 core. i don't mind the processing speed any speed is fine. what Memory should i get 8 GB 16 GB ? which manufacturer of RAM is the best? :)

none of them, just get some 2*8GB 3200mhz cl16 memmory of your choosing.

i suppose you reffer to the Zen 2 lineup, you would probably look at either the 3600 or the 3700x

The Phantom Gaming X is a pretty high end board. If you were buying a processor with it, it'd recommend anywhere from 3700X to 3950X. That being said, you were given it for free. Go with whatever Ryzen 3xxx series your budget allows and 2 * 8GB sticks of at least 3000Mhz. You can always upgrade later on.
