LF Windows desktop + mic audio recorder

Hi, I'm looking for an app that will record my desktop and microphone audio simultenously. 4K compatibility preferred

 

I'm looking for something simple.

 

What are the best options?

If you don't mind them being on same track, you have two easy-ish options. One it to use OBS and capture just audio. Which you can then extract with Audacity etc. Or mix two inputs as one from Windows audio drivers (use "Listen" function) and record them with single instance of Audacity. You can also use two instances of Audacity to record two devices, if your audio setup has that as option.

 

If someone else has other, pref free options, I'm all ears too. Audacity has its limitations on this side of things.

Great I liked OBS. Can it cut and combine video files?

No, OBS is just for capturing. I use Resolve for video editing.
