wait what? 7001 mhz is the speed of the memory not the usage

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

I think that @zerofor means it's not downclocking when idle

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Yes on idle mode it's 7001 mhz

Have you tried setting a speed with MSI afterburner?

Yes it doesn't go below 7000 when i last tried to lower it. Plus i sent it to the company that i bought it from they said it's working fine, i mean what else could effect my gpu using too much memory without running anything ??

It could be your motherboard i guess, i would recommend sending the card back to the supplier again though

I haven't run across any modern cards that downclock the RAM at any time.
