System boots with RAM in slot a1 a2 but not a2 b2

I have an ASROCK X470 SLI/AC motherboard with a Ryzen 3 2200G and it appears as though it is in a bootloop with ram in a2 and b2. Idk how to fix this.

Sometimes it will restart a few times when first installed, usually 3-5 times for ram training. This is normal. If it continues after then there could be a problem. If there is a problem, then take and boot up with a single stick testing each slot to see if there is a defective slot on the board. Could also be a problem with the memory controller on the CPU too.

maybe te board doesnt support dual channel on those sticks and it tries to run dual channel on a2 b2

If it doesn't boot with only B2, the board needs to be RMA'd.

I don't even... (I suspect connection issue between cpu/ram etc)

Hmmm its acting very peculiarly. After being booted for a few minutes the green goes green and i go into a bootloop where i have to reseat the ram again. Very very strange.

It seems linked to pressure the cpu cooler is applying to the cpu so that is what makes me think contact issue.
