I would say the price is pretty good consider that Mi A3 (4+64) is available from Amazon Germany for 199 EUR. That's a great deal you got there.

Mi A3 is not a flagship phone, but it's fit for day to day use and it's part of the Android One initiative, which means it runs stock Android and will receive update faster. (On a personal note, I would prefer a clean Android than those customized ones by Huawei and Lenovo.)

I bought the xiaomi mi a3 for $134 on aliexpress. Could I have gotten a better deal with brands like lenovo or huawei/honor? (Im not very familiar with smartphone CPUs and all that stuff).

Actually thats an ok/great deal. Id prefer the redmi note 7 though since it has 1080p screen compared to the a3 that has 720p but with amoled. Though the cpu on the a3 is a small bit better.

This question should have been asked before buying it. Now if that weren't a great deal, what would you do?

Always ask those kind of questions before buying things.

Very good price you paid. Its not bad a phone apart from the 720p screen. Android one might seem ideal, but in reality just means it doesn't run MIUI and is easier to unlock. Xiaomi still puts their junk software in it though.

It will take more than a month to arrive though...☹

Still better than paying $220 locally.
