What monitor resolution/refresh rate?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

It's basically Doubling throughput... in majority of titles... (using 1440p as baseline because 1080p can be CPU bottlenecked in results or game engine issue)

New Question..
What do YOU DO?

Examples of what you like.....what you PREFER (Details/Res/Expectations?)

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I havean ASUS M249Q IP 144Mhz, it has FreeSync thats why i was considering the 5700X, even tho my 1070 G1 could last me longer i gues, but frames arent high as i would like.
Probably the best purchase i made.

Your CPU is a little bit of a bottleneck for 144hz gaming, should still be at 100+ fps in the average AAA game anyways.

Probably just wait around for the Big Navi GPU coming soonish.

Is that a 1440p display?
