FX505DT PCIE stuck at 8x no matter what

No matter what I do the PCIE for gtx 1650 is stuck at 8x 3.0, i checked with various tools like GPUZ, CPUZ, they are all showing it running at 8x only, even under stress test or their respective test included within their apps.

 

I have updated all drivers and bios, updated windows, reinstalled windows even, the results are all the same, it is a 16x 3.0 slot that is only running at 8x 3.0, the strange part is the igpu from 3550h is actually running at 16x?

 

is there anyway to fix it?

Maybe it's abnormal but that won't affect performance, so I wont be bothered to try fix it.

Hmm? I thought 16x is literally double the speed of 8x, why wouldnt it affect performance here? Is it because 1650 is too shitty?

I wont call it shiity, since you need a 2080ti to overwhelm PCIe 3.0 x8. Otherwise there will be a ton of shitty GPUs out there

Googling FX505DT returns an Asus laptop...

 

EDIT: Did more digging, this is a CPU limitation. It lacks the PCI-E Lanes to dedicate more than 8 to the GPU. But, for a 1650 it doesn't need 16x anyways. It can't get near saturating 8x

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

yeah it is, not sure why does that matter.......? I did check the affect on performance and jurrunio is right, 1650 cant even cap out 8x so there is literally no point in fixing it.
