MSI RX580 Armour COOLING ISSUES

Didn't do good enough research on the MSI RX580. I'm running Modern Warfare at 60 fps, with settings practically on medium. I am running in the 69-71 C degrees. I know that's not terrible, but I believe I can get better texture, and "range" settings if I could cool this mother down. It shoots to 75+ C with almost any other settings adjusted. ++ I updated the cooling in my Corsair 100r case and have good airflow as well.

 

Are there any CPU cooling fan kits to fit on this bad boy, or should I sell this baby for like new and add some doll hairs to fork out for the 5700 XT?

75 is fine. Anything above ~84 is something to start worrying about.

I think if you crank up settings without doing any OC it might not even get hotter,  it's like that on my MSI 1060 gaming x in some games,  the fans will just spin faster. 

 

Also while 75C is definitely fine,  yes there are coolers,  air or liquid...  Requires a lot of tinkering from what I'm seeing though.

 

PS: I think these kind of threads purpose is almost always to justify buying new PC parts,  so go for it I say, a 5700xt should about double your performance.  

 

(and probably not run any cooler lol)

 

 

PSS: I had your exact same card to replace a 1050ti,  it ran very hot and performance was piss poor,  I think something was broken probably but idk.  Could have been poor airflow also,  but both my 1050ti and 1060 run a lot cooler in the same case...

Thermal paste? MSI armor cards on 10 series and RX 400/500 series are known for being weak so there's not a lot else you could do to fix it while being reasonable.
