Looking for advice on case fans placement

Hey guys,

I have an Antec P100 case. It's pretty sealed, and it's mostly focused on sound proofing I think since it has a lot of foam on the front and side panels.

My configuration is currently stock, so it's a 1x 120mm intake (i think) at the front and one 120mm exhaust at the back.

I bought 2 new fans and threw out the stock one that was in the front and I would like to know what would be the optimal way to place them.

Here's my rig:

ASUS TUF B450M Plus Gaming

Ryzen 5 3600 with stock Wraith cooler

16GB Ram 3200

RTX 2070 Super

Antec EA750 Gold

Thanks :)

Hey guys,

If you are not removing the front panel put all of the fans as intake where the mesh is on the top/back.

If you are removing the front door, just put 2 in front with the new front mesh and you should be fine.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Having fans at the front will do basically nothing because of how closed/sealed off it is.

I don’t know about nothing. Less than if they were on the top though.  Even less than that if that giant stack of mechanical HD frames is filled. There appears to be filters both places from the pic I’m seeing online.  2 in the top 1 out the back would make for some overpressure some of which is going to go out the front of the case.  Might make the front air filter eventually fill on the wrong side.  Might want to remove it in that instance.  2 in the front 1 out the back would possibly make overpressure that would do the same to the top opening filter.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
