Random fps drops even thought first half hour of session was god

In the middle of a session, my fortnite fps dropped from a solid 144hz constantly to around 100- 80 fps during the most random time. I have a rx 5700 and i am playing at 1080p and for no reason my performance was going . I don't think this is normal

try monitoring temperatures to see whether the CPU or GPU reaches the Tjunction, but also monitor cpu and gpu usage to make sure there isn't some other app using up resources. If one of the component does reach the Tjunction or is close to it, it basically means that it is overheating and in the process it's lowering it's speed down to prevent damage.
