I dont get why there's a voltage difference. The source supply 5V, the load is Argb compatible.It is just the cable i modify. Unless source shows that the wire is designate to supply 12 V
4 pin RGB's are meant to be 12V
On top of that, the wires themselves carry different signals. Addressible RGB is also known as Digital RGB. You can think of 4 Pin RGB's as Analoug in that case, where each wire carries a corresponding value of a color ranging from 0 to 1.
