I have a budget for cpu (and potentially mobo) of about up to 4000-5000 swedish crowns. I am going to upgrade my current pc: 1050 ti 4gb. 7350k. Asus prime b250m-a. Coolermaster hyper 212 evo. 16gb corsair vengeance. I want to use it for 1080p gaming that will last a couple of years. Im thinking of buying some sort of 1660 at the black friday sale and i know my 7350k wont do. Is it worth to buy a newer motherboard and cpu, perferably intel so i dont have to buy a New cooler. Or to search the extremely  limited aftermarket for a 7700? I live in Sweden so shipping from the us is a no go.

I mean, It depends on the game.  Having a faster GPU doesn't necessarily require more cores, just more speed.  the 7350k has the clocks you need, but regardless, I'd avoid the 7700.  You could get a 3600 and a motherboard for the price of a 7700.  With that evo you could overclck it very nicely to boot.  Go to microcenter if you can, they'll give you a $30 discount if you buy the motherboard and CPU togetrher.  ALso, you can get a 5700 right now for about $270 (way faster than 1660).  You can also load it with the bios from a 5700XT and get nearly identical performance.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.
