I used the Asus VG248QE for a couple years until I upgraded to 1440p, had two of them and they were fantastic. Great color, no ghosting/motion blur, and no light bleed. They could both overclock to 165hz as well with no issues, had a few friends pick up the same monitor after they saw/used mine at lan parties. The only thing it does not have is G-sync or Freesync II, I'm pretty sure the MG248QE is just the updated version of the V-series monitor but with adaptive/freesync, if it's anywhere near the same as the V-series monitor I'd say it's 100% worth it.
