Thank you so much! Does it support a GTX 1660 though? it says 1060, 1070 but not 1660. Also, is there any way I can keep it out in the open without getting dusty or full of dog hair without a chassis? Sorry if it is a dumb question, I just really need to save money.

If it supports 1070 it will support 1660 without any problems. I don't really understand what you mean by

you mean GPU? Why would you keep it out in the open? Put it in the enclosure and wipe it down on regular basis, nothing else you can do, I use canned air for cleaning, makes it fast and easy, and you can use on electronics, inside and out.

However, the chassis that you suggested is 550w, while my graphics card only needs 125w. Is there anything else I can do about this, or will the graphics card just use the power it needs without overheating?

It won't overheat because of that, and could be helpful if you end up getting more power hungry gpu in the future, but the chassis also comes in a 350w variant, so you can get that instead of 500w option.

Amazon doesn't have the 350w variant anymore. They did have it a few days ago and they were selling it as new for like $600! On the plus side, the 550w variant is cheaper than all of the other egpu enclosures that I could find. Maybe prices will drop down more for Christmas.

I would just buy 550w variant, you won't have any problems with it. Also, mention people when you want them to see and respond, like this @noxdeouroboros

They won't, almost sure about it, it's not the item to be heavily discounted.

It was done for a video in a studio with a commercial air con (iirc from their vids about their studio) and I'm sure they don't keep in the open all the time, also why would you keep it like that if you will buy and enclosure for it?
