I don't have it yet. No I just wanted a few questions answered please as I want a futureproof board that I can run 4 slot sli on. I was looking into the manual and read something about the pcie slots that concerned me and wanted to check it. That's just an overview of motherboard but on the other image it says that the 2nd pice 16x is 8x. Well I didn't even though that existed. I just want to know if I can get full performance out of both cards in 4 slot sli. This may be 2 2080ti s. I have a nice catch. I want to run 2 m2 ssds as well. I will leave a link or pdf of the guide because I cant make sense of all of the numbers too well. Thanks for any help.

4 slot? All that matters is number and model of GPU, not slot.

um....... quad SLI is not relevant, like at all. even dual SLI is kinda dead.

All X570 boards can do that. with 4 lanes from the CPU and 4 from the chipset being allocated to that.

if you are reffering to regular SLI, yes. it will work as well as SLI does, meaning "eh" most of the time.

As i can see from the motherboard details your configuration will always fall at the 8x factor, only when using 1 gpu you will get 16x pxie for it to use. BUT as of now even the 2080ti dont need the 16x bus. 16x bus will give an extra "breath" to the system instead of pushing it to the limit everytime "electronically".

With a 3rd gen cpu you will not have problem with the configuration you say unless you bump up to a misconfiguration or need a bios update.

4 way sli isn‘t a thing anymore. 2 way is the max supported by modern stuff and thats where most boards stop. The only recent example I can think of is the msi godlike which at least supports 4 way crossfire. Also may I ask how 4 way sli is supposed to work with 3 slots?

Xeon e5649@4.4 GHz on Asus Rampage II Extreme or Gigabyte x58a-OC (whatever I feel like to set up at a time) , 6x4 GB Kingston HyperX 1600, Gainward GTX 670 Phantom, Samsung 840 Evo 240 GB, BeQuiet L8 530W

Thanks for all the help but sorry I just meant the 4 slot wide Ali bridge

this board uses 3 slot wide bridges, not 4
